A Presidential Decree established the COVID-19 Fund which is managed by the Cabinet.
Guided by Section 23 of Article 109 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in order to take preventive steps against COVID-19 and strengthen the counter measures, were decreed:
1. to establish the COVID-19 Response Fund.
2. to approve the “Regulation of the formation, management and use of the funds of the COVID-19 Response Fund”.
3. to define the prevention of the spread of the COVID-19 infection in the Republic of Azerbaijan and provision of financial assistance to the counter measures as the purpose of the Fund.
4. That the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan shall address the issues arising from this Decree.
