Controlling the pandemic depends above all on strengthening the healthcare system throughout the country.
With this in mind, the Government has adopted a contingency plan for an initial amount of 15 billion FCFA (25,087,650.00 USD), intended for the acquisition of equipment to treat potential COVID-19 patients, in view of the urgency of the situation.
At the same time, the government has set up a Special Fund to combat the coronavirus, which will be financed by state resources, contributions from partners and all other good-will donors.
