The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Mutuelle générale des fonctionnaires et agents de l’Etat de Côte d’Ivoire (MUGEF-CI), Kouamé Mesmin Comoé, calls on on Wednesday April 14, 2021, the State to pay the employer’s share.
“The employer’s share amounts to around 450 million CFA francs per month. That’s more than 5 billion CFA francs per year, which we expect the government to provide to complete our healthcare basket. Unfortunately, from 2020 to the present day, the State has not yet honored this debt. And the approaches we have made to the Prime Minister’s Office and the Ministry of Health have yet to bear fruit,” says the former secretary general of the Mouvement des instituteurs pour la défense de leurs droits (MIDD).
