The “nutrition and health” sectoral framework of the SCADD (Strategy for Accelerated Growth and Sustainable Development) has long recommended the development of a national health financing strategy. A scoping workshop will be held from February 16 to 18 in Koudougou, the expected outcome of which is a roadmap for the development of the strategy. Around 50 participants are expected, including 30 from the Ministry of Health, as well as executives from the Secrétariat Technique de l’Assurance Maladie and the Ministry of Economy and Finance. In terms of partners, WHO and DUE in particular will be contributing their technical expertise.
