As part of the implementation of the Health Insurance Scheme in Chad adopted on 17/8/2018, a preliminary draft law has been drawn up, by a technical committee set up by Order No. 446/PR/PM/MSP/SE/SG/2017 of the Minister of Public Health. This committee worked for 8 months, from December 2017 to July 2018, under the supervision of the interministerial cell coordinating the national strategy for universal health coverage.
With the aim of taking into account the concerns of all stakeholders, a national workshop to validate the preliminary draft law was organized on 28/8/2018 at the HOTEL RADISSON BLU in N’Djamena. The workshop brought together some fifty executives from various ministries, institutions, civil society, trade unions and technical and financial partners.
