Please find attached an update of the Ugandan draft Health Financing Strategy (HFS). The draft is currently being reviewed and the inputs from P4H members will be greatly appreciated.
Uganda last year adopted new legislation establishing a Fund for HIV/AIDS. The relevant documents are attached. As Uganda includes aspects of the new fund in the HFS, they would like to get advice on some of the key issues that government may want to consider in creating the fund as well as the critical implications of operating such a fund.
