The National Assembly of People’s Power approved this new law that seeks to develop the constitutional postulates and reinforce the responsibilities of the State with regard to Public Health.
The main objective of the new law is to reinforce the responsibilities of the State with regard to public health and also seeks to incorporate the agreements adopted in international treaties into the national legal system.
It is the result of a long participative process that involved different institutions, health professionals from different levels, members of parliament and also students of medical sciences.
