New Zealand has started full lockdown mode after the first case of the delta variant appeared. A single locally transmitted COVID-19 case hadn’t been found since February. On Wednesday, there were six more cases linked to the first case.
New Zealand is one of the last countries facing the delta variant. “Level 4” lockdown, which is the most restrictive level, has been implemented. New Zealanders are not permitted to leave their homes except for exercise, grocery shopping, and essential health care visits. To read more, click here.
