Advocacy for the labor rights of public sector nurses
“This is the theme of the meeting of nurses in the Democratic Republic of Congo, to be held in Kinshasa from June 24 to 26, 2024. It was an opportunity to examine nurses’ working conditions across the country, including remuneration, and to discuss the implementation of the CSU.

I’m going to work with all nurses to support the Universal Health Coverage (UHC) advocated by the President of the Republic, Felix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo
“declared Jeannine Baheka, Unic’s deputy general secretary in charge of gender and family. « When we talk about the nursing profession in the DRC, we see that over 80% of nurses are women. We’re going to work hard to support these women and encourage them to get involved in implementing the CSU. “she added.
