The P4H members working in Niger are: WHO, AFD, ILO, World Bank, USAID, KfW, Global Fund, and Spanish Cooperation (AECID). Prepared by all members for several months, the mission was finally carried out from July 17 to 20, 2018 by AFD, WHO and the World Bank. KfW, USAID and AECID, present in Niamey, took part in key exchanges and the production of recommendations. In addition, ENABEL (ex-CTB) and Unicef, active partners in Niger in the field of health/social protection financing, worked closely with the mission.
Among its recommendations, the network suggests moving towards CSU by building on the “free” policy for children under 5 and pregnant women, with a thorough review of the implementation mechanism.
