GIZ, ILO and WHO offer technical and financial support during the transition to a new Comunity-based Health Insurance Policy. To make the new system more equitable and sustainable P4H partners worked on the development of a national database (Ubudehe) of the wealth of individuals used to determine the Community Based Health Insurance (CBHI) premium contribution. They also worked on: a communication and sensitization campaign covering all districts which included tri-media support; the training of all district and section managers using the CBHI Procedure Manual; and provided technical assistance to the CBHI unit in the Ministry of Health (MoH).
