From January 2020, the P4H Asia Network for Health Financing and Social Health Protection is officially partnering with the Asia Pacific Network for Health Systems Strengthening (ANHSS) which was launched in 2009. The ANHSS has three main thematic focuses that include Health Sector Reform and Sustainable Financing; Equity in Health; and Public-Private Partnership for Health. The Network organizes knowledge sharing events, face-to-face training courses and basic online outreach education. By doing so, the Network aims to empower health policy makers, help them close the gap between technical knowledge, policy design and implementation. As a platform it facilitates the process of sharing health system reform lessons among Asian countries and building the capacity of national institutions to become centers of excellence in knowledge dissemination and policy assistance to their government and the region.
