The President of the Republic of Paraguay received the Director of the Pan American Health Organization to discuss strategic issues related to the country’s health.
The new Country Cooperation Strategy 2024-2028, which aims to move towards universal health and strengthen the health system, was signed with the participation of the Director of the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO). The President of the Republic of Paraguay, together with other important governmental authorities, received him to discuss priority health issues in the country.
They emphasized that the “One Health” approach addresses health-related challenges in complex environments, which requires working with other sectors such as agriculture, livestock and the environment.
