Burkina’s Ministry of Health decided in early 2018 to review the SNFS, which had been transmitted to the Council of Ministers in late 2017, taking advantage of the opportunity provided by the need to introduce the document with an operationalization plan.
The group in charge, made up of 20 well-targeted people (see ToR), has been meeting since the beginning of July to rework the document with the proposals made by His Excellency the Minister, to reformat the document, and to add an operational action plan. It is supported by a national consultant. Although the number of participants at our meetings is often low, the work progresses, driven by a core group.
Work is scheduled for completion in September 2018.
