Public Health is historically prioritized in State Budget

The State has prioritized public health in Cuba, allocating 23% of the total budget to this sector.
It was established that the public health financing proposed for 2023 would be used for the acquisition of “medicines, consumables and reagents; the repair and maintenance of equipment and sanitary transportation; and the purchase of non-medical supplies”.
Public health sector expenditures accounted for 23% of the total budget for that administration.
