Since May 24, pharmaceutical news has been marked by a pricing change for a category of products with hybrid status, half-drug and half-nutritional supplement.
This increase follows a reclassification in the customs nomenclature of this category of products, making them subject to a gate tax from which they were previously exempt.
Of the nearly 4,000 medicines dispensed in pharmacies, 220 items are affected. As a result of this change, the price of the product will change, with VAT being applied to the retail price in pharmacies.
