(Update 1 Jun 2016): SP_Week_SHI_session_summary_final
———–
The first National Social Protection week took place from 16-20 May 2016. The Social Protection Week comprises a series of sessions to share information and engage citizens in a public debate on the state of Social Protection in Zambia. It is in light of this that the Government of Zambia, through the Ministry of Community Development and Social Welfare and the Ministry of Labour and Social Security, with the support of ILO and UNICEF has convened the 2016 Social Protection Week Under the theme: “Achieving Prosperity for All”.
The programme includes a session on Social Health Insurance under the theme “How to make Social Health Insurance work for all”.
I’ll post the presentation and some information on the content of the debates in the course of the week.
Thanks a lot and all the best,
Marielle Goursat (ILO, P4H Country Focal Point)
