Budget realization shows the actual spending and allocation of the budget. Indonesia government emphasizes the necessity to speed up of budget realization at the regional level to raise the household consumption as well as to recover the economy from the COVID-19 pandemic throughout the nation.
The central government allocated over Rp700 trillion to regional governments. In addition, regional governments also have their own budget from regional income and other sources of revenue following the regulations. Thus, realization of regional budget could support the economic growth of the country to reach 5 percent growth by 2021.
As of 19 November 2021, the realization of 2021 regional budget at the provincial level has reached 65.12 percent, at the regency level reached 61.15 percent, and at the municipal level reached 59.08 percent. To read more, please click.
