This workshop provided an opportunity for stakeholders to be updated on recent developments around the preparations for SLeSHI implementation by the Ministry of Health and Sanitation (MoHS). GOPA expert, Professor Holst shared key findings and recommendations from the GiZ-GOPA assignment and advisory work while collecting valuable feedback from key stakeholders on further planning, development and potential preparation for the implementation of the scheme.
The workshop was attended by a wide range of stakeholders from MoHS, SLeSHI, the Ministry of Labour and Social Security, the Employers’ Federation, civil society, the medical and nursing profession, hospitals, the pharmaceutical industry and development partners. The results of the workshop will inform the final configuration of SLeSHI set-up and operations.
