The second cycle of the Leadership for UHC program has successfully started in Sri Lanka. Representatives from Ministries of Health, Finance, Labor and Social Welfare, State and Provincial Health Authorities, Health Insurance and Social Security Agencies, Health Service Providers and Civil Society Organizations of Myanmar, Pakistan and Viet Nam are attending the first Module of the Program that will take place from 19-22 March 2019 in Colombo. A representative from the Republican Center for Health Development of the Ministry of Health, Kazakhstan is invited to join the Program because the country will host its second Module in June 2019. There is plan to explore possibilities to tailor the Program for the Commonwealth of Independent Countries (CIS) to be delivered in collaboration with Kazakhstan and other countries in Central Asia.
