Burkina Faso’s Secrétariat Technique de l’Assurance Maladie is living out its final hours for good reason: the Caisse Nationale d’Assurance Maladie created on March 1, 2018 by the Council of Ministers saw the adoption of the decree approving its particular statutes on March 21, 2018 (see today’s other “news”).
Those in charge of the project are still using this time to communicate extensively, explaining the ins and outs of the Universal Health Insurance Scheme to journalists and members of parliament. More recently, they have been supported in their awareness-raising and information efforts by the permanent secretariat of NGOs, the “SPONG”.
