Timor-Leste plans to provide compensation to people who receive adverse reactions or fatalities from Covid-19 vaccine, aiming to encourage the population to get the vaccination due to a rise of new cases and deaths.
A patient who experiences a rare case of disability will receive compensation ranging from US$1,000 to $7,000, while $10,000 will be given to the family as compensation in case of death.
Of 754,800 adult population, 51.6 percent have received their first dose, while 26.1 percent have been fully inoculated. To read more, click.
