The Institut National d’Assurance Maladie (INAM) received this Tuesday, October 05, 2021, the Certificate of Merit with Special Mention at the ISSA 2020 Good Practice Award for Africa. This distinction was awarded to by the International Social Security Association (ISSA) in recognition of its innovations and achievements in the care of its policyholders in recent years.
Indeed, since 2015, the institution has undertaken reforms to deliver better services to policyholders and improve its relations with its partners. We recall that in 2017, it launched the electronic archiving system to better manage beneficiary documents.
A year later, it adopted the Stane software package to dematerialize subscriber enrolment and registration. In 2019, it opts to build a more efficient and reliable health insurance engineering system. More recently, in 2020, it equipped its policyholders with secure cards enabling, among other things, facial control.
