On 24 June 2024, the National Social Assistance Fund (NSAF), in collaboration with GIZ Cambodia and the P4H Network and presided over by Mr. Hour Tola, Deputy Director General of NSAF, conducted the first of a series of regional training workshop in Siem Reap province, Cambodia.
The series of regional training workshop have been conducted to build a capacity of sub-national administrations on social health protection. The workshop aimed to disseminate information about the implementation of the Social Assistance Family Package Programme under Sub-decree 372 ANKr/BK and to enhance Health Equity Fund Awareness among NSAF officials in the capital and provinces.
For the first regional workshop in Siem Reap, a total of 35 participants attended the workshop, including chiefs of capital/provincial branch offices from Siem Reap, Oddor Meanchey, Preah Vihear, Kampong Thom, Prey Veng, and Phnom Penh, as well as representatives from GIZ, the P4H Network focal person, and the management of NSAF.
