Current situation in Guinea Bissau
Unfortunately due to the continuous political crisis, changes in the government and high turnover of high level officials of the MoH, Guinea-Bissau has no health financing strategy developed yet.
WCO started supporting the National Health Accounts (SHA - 11) and the only report available is related to year 2011 (See documents, in Portuguese). Data of 2015 - 2017 have already been collected however the report is not ready yet.
In 2019 was hosted by the WHO the first training on health financing for Lusophone countries.
