The P4H Network is the global network for social health protection and health financing. Launched as a pioneering initiative during the June 2007 G8 summit in Heiligendamm, Germany, its mission is to promote, develop, and strengthen exchange and collaboration advancing universal health coverage through social health protection and health financing.
Composed of 21 diverse members, including multilateral and bilateral institutions, development banks, global health funds and partnerships, as well as academia, the five founding members of the P4H Network are the International Labor Organization, the World Bank Group, the World Health Organization, France, and Germany.
P4H Terms of Reference
“Terms of Reference for the P4H Network” is a foundational document of the P4H Network. It sets out the network’s value proposition and principles, organizational structure, membership criteria, and planning and budgeting activities.
Organization
The P4H Network comprises three structures: the P4H Steering Group (P4H-SG) makes strategic decisions; the P4H Technical Exchange Group engages experts; the P4H Coordination Desk carries out the P4H-SG’s priorities.
P4H Country Focal Persons connect and convene stakeholders in countries.
