At the country level, the P4H Network’s primary engagement is in social health protection (SHP) and health financing (HF) processes and reforms. P4H country focal persons (P4H-CFPs) connect countries and P4H, informing two-way communication about needs and opportunities in SHP and HF. In this way, P4H-CFPs are an essential added value of P4H.
P4H-CFPs have one of two roles. They may be deployed by P4H institutional members to be honest brokers in policy discussions among national and international stakeholders, or they may be nominated by P4H country members to facilitate collaboration between countries and the P4H Network.
