A technical committee was set up early in 2021 to oversee analytical work to inform interventions to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the scheme. This committee comprised of public and private sector officials is assessing and proposing reforms to PSEMA\u00a0\u00a0on optimal restructuring, achieving internal cost savings, and alternative modes of service provision.
