It was drafted upstream to facilitate understanding between countries of the financial risk protection mechanisms in place and\/or being installed. It was improved during the laboratory and afterwards. It is therefore a co-production of all the laboratory&#8217;s participants, a list of whom can be found in the appendix. It provides an overview of the status of the most significant financial risk protection mechanisms in 7 French-speaking African countries in December 2019. It&#8217;s imperfect and unsystematic, but it&#8217;s very rich and opens up important prospects for comparison and follow-up, which participants in future laboratories will be sure to seize upon. Lastly, it was the source of a final document entitled &#8220;Analyse crois\u00e9e de l&#8217;assurance maladie dans 7 pays d&#8217;Afrique francophone&#8221;.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This document is the latest work to come out of the laboratory.
