Following this shift, TB services were integrated into the health benefit package covered by SHI. Consequently, uninsured individuals with TB must either pay out-of-pocket for services or obtain SHI coverage to access them. This study aims to delve deeper into the challenges faced by uninsured individuals with TB, evaluate the feasibility of their enrollment in SHI, and identify the barriers hindering their enrollment. Findings of this study can be useful for other middle-income countries going under the same transition.<\/p>\n
