The five strategic objectives of the NHI Strategy 2021\u20132025 include:<\/p>\n

  1. Improve the legal and policy framework of NHI and strengthen the National Health Insurance Bureau (NHIB) governance mechanism<\/li>\n
  2. Strengthen financial independence, accountability, and sustainability of the NHI fund<\/li>\n
  3. Strengthen NHIB\u2019s institutional capacity and operational effectiveness and efficiency at all levels: National Health Insurance Bureau, Provincial Health Insurance Bureau and District Health Insurance Bureau<\/li>\n
  4. Ensure responsiveness of health facilities and improve quality of health care services<\/li>\n
  5. Raise awareness among the general population about NHI benefit entitlements<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
