This law regulates the right to health protection that every person has according to the mandate established in the Political Constitution of the United Mexican States.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Health Law establishes the bases and modalities for access to health services and the concurrence of the Federation and the states in matters of general health in Mexico<\/a>. It applies throughout the republic and its provisions are of public order and social interest.<\/p>\n

The National Health System is made up of the agencies and entities of the Public Administration, both federal and local, and its purpose is to comply with the right to health protection.<\/p>\n

The Federation and the governments of the federative entities must provide the material, human and financial resources required for the operation of general health services. The resources contributed by the parties must be expressly used for the purposes of the respective agreement and are subject to the corresponding legal regime. They are managed by the administrative structure established by the Federation and the governments of the states.<\/p>\n
