The launch, led by His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, was attended by senior officials, including HE Dr. Hanan Mohamed Al Kuwari, Minister of Public Health, who emphasized the country\u2019s commitment to building a sustainable healthcare system for current and future generations.<\/p>\n<p>The new strategy outlines bold objectives such as increasing life expectancy to 82.6 years, reducing mortality from noncommunicable diseases by 36%, and cutting infant mortality to 2 per 1,000 live births. It is designed to improve population health and well-being, achieve excellence in service delivery, and enhance health system efficiency and resilience. Dr. Saleh Ali Al Marri, Assistant Minister of Public Health for Health Affairs, highlighted that the strategy\u2019s 15 specific outcomes are supported by comprehensive initiatives across primary, secondary, and community healthcare.<\/p>\n<p>Qatar\u2019s National Health Strategy reinforces the country\u2019s global standing as a leader in healthcare innovation and excellence.
