Authored by Emmanuel Onu Alhassan and Olympus Oyewole Ade-Banjo, the study responds to longstanding challenges in Nigeria\u2019s health financing system, which continue to impact health outcomes across the country.<\/p>\n

Using a modified two-sided stakeholder model, the researchers surveyed 400 citizens and civil society organisations (CSOs) to assess perceptions, priorities, and participation levels related to primary healthcare financing. The findings reveal widespread support for universal health coverage, yet highlight limited public awareness and engagement in policy processes\u2014especially among youth.
