This paper examines health financing options for achieving Universal Health Coverage (UHC) in the Republic of Congo, focusing on domestic and external resource mobilization. It highlights the challenges Congo faces, including a significant financing gap, slow demographic and epidemiological transitions, and the burden of communicable and non-communicable diseases. The analysis, based on exploratory studies from 2019-2022, aims to inform the government’s new National Health Sector Financing Strategy and improve health outcomes through efficient and effective resource allocation.\u00a0<\/p>\n
