This peer review journal article published in 2023 analyses catastrophic health expenditures and effects on household impoverishment in Togo.\u00a0 Since 2015, Togo has been committed to working towards ensuring access to quality health care without its citizens incurring catastrophic expenses and developed a coherent\u00a0health financing (HF) strategy<\/a>\u00a0for universal health coverage in 2020.
