Since October 2022, the National Health Security Office has incorporated pharmacy services for 16 common conditions, including headache, dizziness, pain in joint, muscle pain, fever, cough, sore throat, stomachache, diarrhoea, constipation, dysuria, vaginal discharge, skin rash\/lesion, wound, eye disorder, and ear disorder, into the health benefit package under the Universal Coverage Scheme in Thailand.<\/a> This study aims to estimate the cost savings of pharmacist-provided care at community drug stores for these 16 conditions, compared with outpatient services at hospitals, using retrospective secondary data.
