The mandate of the institute would include establishing local vaccine manufacturing plants, deepening research and development for vaccines. The president established a committee to oversee the establishment of the institute. At a stakeholders engagement meeting, the secretary of the committee Prof William Ampofo said that about US$200 million will be needed to establish the institute.&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span>The secretary further said. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span>This money will not come from the government.
