However, there is now a growing body of evidence that shows the impact of PFM processes on the quality and volume of public spending in the health sector.<\/p>\n<p>In a recent Center for Global Development and World Health Organization&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cgdev.org\/publication\/overall-fiscal-space-budgetary-space-health-connecting-public-financial-management\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">paper<\/a>, H\u00e9l\u00e8ne Barroy and Sanjeev Gupta argue that budgetary space for health can be created through added revenue and by improving PFM in publicly-funded health systems. This is a new approach to positioning PFM which has implications for budget dialogues and future research.<\/p>\n<p><strong>This webinar focuses on the links between PFM and budgetary space for health and explores ways in which improvements in budget formulation and execution can expand resources available for the health sector.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>This session will be the third of the HGF Webinar series.<br \/>\nWant to know more about the other ones?
