{"id":987521533,"date":"2022-05-20T03:05:56","date_gmt":"2022-05-20T02:05:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/p4h.world\/news\/iran-the-new-8th-cycle-of-universal-public-health-insurance-uphi-has-started-from-25-february-2022\/"},"modified":"2023-03-02T09:33:01","modified_gmt":"2023-03-02T08:33:01","slug":"iran-the-new-8th-cycle-of-universal-public-health-insurance-uphi-has-started-from-25-february-2022","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/p4h.world\/en\/news\/iran-the-new-8th-cycle-of-universal-public-health-insurance-uphi-has-started-from-25-february-2022\/","title":{"rendered":"Iran: The new 8th cycle of Universal Public Health insurance (UPHI) has started from 25 February 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>All&nbsp;<em><a href=\"https:\/\/reliefweb.int\/report\/iran-islamic-republic\/unhcr-iran-announcement-amayesh-16-registration\">Amayesh<\/a>&nbsp;<\/em>and<em>&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.unhcr.org\/ir\/frequently-asked-questions-on-universal-public-health-insurance\/\">Hoviat<\/a>&nbsp;<\/em>card holder refugees, who have been enrolled in the previous cycle of Universal Public Health insurance (UPHI) scheme before March this year as vulnerable and had free-of-charge insurance coverage, can now approach any of the nearest Pishkhan Centers, affiliated with Iran Health Insurance Organization (IHIO), and renew their free-of-charge health insurance coverage.<\/p>\n<p>As per previous cycles, other refugees (<em>Amayesh&nbsp;<\/em>and<em>&nbsp;Hoviat<\/em>&nbsp;card holders) who wish to enrol in the insurance coverage, can also approach any of the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/ihio.gov.ir\/%D8%AF%D9%81%D8%A7%D8%AA%D8%B1-%D9%BE%DB%8C%D8%B4%D8%AE%D9%88%D8%A7%D9%86?page12609=1&amp;size12609=12\">Pishkhan Centres<\/a>&nbsp;affiliated with&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.ihio.gov.ir\/\">Iran Health Insurance Organization<\/a> (IHIO) countrywide, pay the ratified premium fee, and receive health insurance coverage for a duration of 12 months from the date of enrolment.<\/p>\n<p>All refugees should ensure that when approaching&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/ihio.gov.ir\/%D8%AF%D9%81%D8%A7%D8%AA%D8%B1-%D9%BE%DB%8C%D8%B4%D8%AE%D9%88%D8%A7%D9%86?page12609=1&amp;size12609=12\">Pishkhan Centers<\/a>, pre-registration is conducted at the time of enrolment.
