{"id":987521569,"date":"2022-04-14T03:07:02","date_gmt":"2022-04-14T02:07:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/p4h.world\/news\/omans-dhamani-health-insurance-platform-onboards-over-100-entities\/"},"modified":"2023-03-02T09:30:27","modified_gmt":"2023-03-02T08:30:27","slug":"omans-dhamani-health-insurance-platform-onboards-over-100-entities","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/p4h.world\/en\/news\/omans-dhamani-health-insurance-platform-onboards-over-100-entities\/","title":{"rendered":"Oman&#8217;s Dhamani Health Insurance Platform onboards over 100 entities"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <strong>first 100 stakeholders<\/strong> participating in the delivery of the <strong>National Health Insurance Project (<em>Dhamani<\/em>)<\/strong> have now been onboarded and registered on the Dhamani platform underpinning the implementation of the compulsory health insurance programme in the Sultanate of Oman.<\/p>\n<p>It marks the successful completion of a key milestone ahead of the planned roll-out of the Dhamani project \u2013 an initiative spearheaded by the Capital Market Authority (CMA) with the support of various government agencies.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/cma.gov.om\/Sector\/Index\/2\"><strong>Capital Market Authority<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;regulates and supervises the insurance sector in the Sultanate of Oman which consists of General and Takaful insurance companies, reinsurance companies, insurance brokers, insurance agents, the Oman Insurance Society and others.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith the i<strong>nitiation of the onboarding and registration process<\/strong>, we have now completed Phase 1A of the Dhamani Health Insurance ExchangePlatform project,&#8221; says&nbsp;<strong>Dr. Mohamed Ghazaly<\/strong>, Medical Insurance Expert \u2013 Capital Market Authority.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, to ensure the equitable and sustainable operation of the scheme, the CMA is currently doing the groundwork to facilitate a <strong>scientific costing and pricing study<\/strong> to help standardize the pricing of services.<\/p>\n<p><em>To know more read the full news article published in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.omanobserver.om\/article\/1117348\/business\/economy\/omans-dhamani-health-insurance-platform-on-boards-over-100-entities\">Oman Observer.<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Have anything to say about Oman&#8217;s social health protection and health financing policies?
