The top-up will be added to their Child Development Account (CDA) from mid-Sep 2021. Approximately 250,000 children will receive this benefit.&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><span><span><span>This top-up is part of the Household Support Package announced at Budget 2021 to provide families with additional support for their child-raising expenses. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><span><span><span><span>Funds in the CDA can be used for the child\u2019s or his\/her sibling\u2019s educational and healthcare expenses at Approved Institutions.
