Though not all explicitly labelled P4H activities, a series of events in line with the P4H spirit are being developed or happened since April.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In April<\/strong> there was a 2-day regional health financing experts meeting<\/strong>, hosted by the School of Public Health, Seoul National University on the occasion of the launch of the WHO Collaborating Centre for Health System and Financing at the school. Representatives of WHO at various countries and the regional office, World Bank, GiZ and Asian Development Bank as well as academics from Japan, Korea and Australia attended the event.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

WHO Cambodia collaborated with ILO<\/strong> to ensure participation of relevant persons from the Ministry of Health and Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training at a training by the Korean National Health Insurance. Together with GiZ, WHO will try to coordinate all health financing\/social health protection-related trainings by various organizations for staff members of the Ministry of Health. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A joint courtesy call<\/strong> (GiZ, BMZ, ILO, AFD) was made to the new Minister of Labour under the name of P4H Network. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Two well-attended consultative workshops<\/strong> were held in June<\/strong> on issues related to provider payment and benefit packages for social health protection schemes. The objective of the workshops was to provide input for the formulation of respective guidelines. Agence Fran\u00e7aise de D\u00e9veloppement, through the Social Health Protection Association, provided funding and design of the events was done in collaboration with selected development partners and the Ministry of Health. <\/span><\/p>\n
