{"id":987524108,"date":"2014-01-07T03:33:06","date_gmt":"2014-01-07T02:33:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/p4h.world\/news\/nhi-proposed-institutional-and-organizational-set-up-01-2014\/"},"modified":"2023-03-02T11:09:27","modified_gmt":"2023-03-02T10:09:27","slug":"nhi-proposed-institutional-and-organizational-set-up-01-2014","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/p4h.world\/en\/news\/nhi-proposed-institutional-and-organizational-set-up-01-2014\/","title":{"rendered":"NHI: proposed institutional and organizational set-up -\/01\/2014"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>GIZ shares a report for the proposed <strong>institutional and\u00a0organizational set up for the\u00a0National Health Insurance (NHI) of Nepal along\u00a0with its functions and functionaries. \u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><em>[This refers to one of the 10 work packages outlined in the previous <a href=\"\/page-1\/npl\/mapping-dp-support-for-nhi-update-dec-2013\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Intranet entry on 2.12.13<\/a>]<\/em><\/p>\n<p>A new institution with the\u00a0working name National Health Insurance Agency (NHIA) is proposed to\u00a0be established at an early stage of the design and implementation of the\u00a0new national scheme. \u00a0It could be a very small organisation to begin with (10-15 employees) with a concrete task to finalize the design of the new scheme\u00a0and prepare its implementation. The NHIA would be in a semi-autonomous\u00a0position to the Ministry of Health and Population.
