The Department of Health and the Philippines Health Insurance Corporation (commonly known as PhilHealth) has formulated a new home care benefit package for Covid 19 patients that will include “cost mechanisms”, among others. <\/p>\n

The “holistic” home care package aims to integrate the allocation of treatment, telemedicine and the One Covid-19 Referral Centre services as well as expand access to primary care physicians who can monitor patients either in-person or virtually.<\/p>\n
