Despite laudable progress, the effective realization of the human rights to health and social security is not yet a reality for all.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Objectives:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The event&nbsp;features the launch of the&nbsp;<strong>ILO Publication \u201cExtending social health protection: Accelerating progress towards Universal Health Coverage in Asia and the Pacific\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The event will provide an opportunity to&nbsp;foster exchanges and promote mutual learning among countries in the Asia Pacific region and beyond, on strategies, progress and remaining challenges on the extension of social health protection.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Format and Content:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li><strong>7 December 2021&nbsp;on&nbsp;14:30-17:00 (Bangkok UTC +7)<\/strong>\n<p>\tLIVE WEBINAR 1:&nbsp;<em>Social Health Protection: where are we in the Asia Pacific region?
