President William Ruto announced changes to the National Health Insurance Fund (NHIF) contributions in Kenya. During the Labour Day celebrations he revealed that low-income earners will pay USD2.19 (Ksh300) instead of USD3.59 (Ksh500) \u00a0in monthly contributions, while those in formal employment will contribute 2.7% of their earnings.
