The program offers a one-year cover for four antenatal visits, delivery, three postnatal care visits, and vaccines for the child. It also covers various conditions and complications incurred during pregnancy and offers both inpatient and outpatient services. \u00a0NHIF urged the public to ignore misinformation circulating on social media about the program\u2019s termination. The clarification came just days after the newly appointed NHIF Board Chairman, Michael Kamau, urged Kenyans to pay their monthly contributions on time in order to access timely services. The Linda Mama program was launched by former President Uhuru Kenyatta and has been applauded for its role in reducing child mortality in Kenya.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
