{"id":987645525,"date":"2021-11-03T05:46:15","date_gmt":"2021-11-03T04:46:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/p4h.world\/news\/60-of-adult-population-in-kazakhstan-is-fully-vaccinated-against-covid-19\/"},"modified":"2021-11-03T05:46:15","modified_gmt":"2021-11-03T04:46:15","slug":"60-of-adult-population-in-kazakhstan-is-fully-vaccinated-against-covid-19","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/p4h.world\/en\/news\/60-of-adult-population-in-kazakhstan-is-fully-vaccinated-against-covid-19\/","title":{"rendered":"60% of adult population in Kazakhstan is fully vaccinated against COVID-19"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In the Republic of Kazakhstan, citizens are provided with access to five types of vaccines: Gam-COVID-Vac (Sputnik V), QazVac, Hayat-Vax, KoronaVac and Sinopharm.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>As of October 25, 2021 Vaccination Rate in Kazakhstan has reached 60 percent:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>8 168 114 people out of 19 million population were vaccinated with Component I of a vaccine against COVID-19 in Kazakhstan;<\/li>\n<li>7 329 137 people (<strong>60% of the population) <\/strong>were&nbsp;vaccinated with Component II of a vaccine against COVID-19 in Kazakhstan, deeming <strong>full (complete) vaccination.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A vaccine should be administered in two stages with an interval of 21 days or 14-28 days (depending on the type of vaccine).<\/p>\n<p>In addition,&nbsp;revaccination of the population by a <strong>Booster dose<\/strong> is planned to begin from the third decade of November this year for the following categories of risk groups &#8211; medical workers, teachers, personnel and contingent of medical and social institutions and closed institutions, employees of law enforcement agencies.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Vaccination in Kazakhstan is <strong>voluntary.<\/strong> According to article 77 of the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan &#8220;On people&#8217;s health and the health care system&#8221;, any medical procedure, including vaccination, is carried out only with the informed consent of the vaccinated person.
