This information was made public when the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko visited the high-tech biological industry enterprise called \u201cBelVitunipharm\u201d on August 12, 2021. This production site is where the domestic vaccine against coronavirus disease is being developed.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><span><span>Minister of Health Dmitry Pinevich explained that (according to the local system) vaccine development work consisted of three stages: the laboratory stage, experimental-industrial stage and industrial stage. It was decided that the experimental-industrial stage for vaccine production would be jointly carried out by BelVitunifarm and another local pharmaceutical company, Belmedpreparaty.
